POSITION TITLE: Food Services Manager
LOCATION: Sargent Shriver Center / All food service sites
HOURS/ SHIFT:
- Monday – Friday
- 40 Hrs. / 52 Wks
SALARY: $54,620.80
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent plus minimum three years experience in food preparation. Prefer A.A. degree in Nutrition or Food Service related field. Two years of supervisory experience. Intermediate computer skills required. Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises all aspects of the Washington County Head Start Food Service Program. Implements the Child Care Food Program of the Head Start Center according to the goals and objectives set forth in the Head Start Performance Standards and the USDA Child Care Food Program guidelines. Oversees and assists in preparation of meals at various H.S. sites. Oversees and maintains established standards of sanitation, safety, and food preparation. Serves as substitute Cook as needed. Develops menus and obtains nutrition consultation as defined in Head Start guidelines. Completes CACFP review, meal observations, and kitchen inspections. Trains staff on safe food handling.
