“Head Start of Washington County is taking proactive steps to address the Coronavirus if it is spread to our community. Staff will continue to implement standard protocols to prevent the spread of viruses (i.e. encouraging frequent hand washing, healthy sneeze/cough etiquette, disinfecting and sanitizing surfaces, etc.). Emergency response plans are being reviewed and adjusted based on this rapidly changing situation. Our cleaning crews are aware and using products that combat these types of germs.  HSWC will follow the direction and guidance of the local health department if there is community spread of the virus in Washington County. Staff have been involved in collaborating with local partners and agencies to ensure there is an appropriate response to address the Coronavirus, both in our sites and across our community. The safety of our children and staff is our top priority.”
