Head Start Teacher- (Full-time)
POSITION TITLE: Full-Time HS Teacher
LOCATION: Elgin Station Center
HOURS / WEEKS:
- 40 hours per week – Monday-Friday
- 7:30am to 3:30pm
- 52 weeks per year
SALARY RANGE: Bachelor’s Degree -- $22.57/HR

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or degree in a related field and coursework equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education and one year pre-school teaching experience preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for daily classroom operation and curriculum implementation; participation in related health, nutrition, social services and parent involvement activities. Directs teacher assistant and classroom volunteers. Main responsibilities also include: maintaining classroom and supplies, supervising children, taking special needs into consideration when planning daily and individualized activities, recruiting volunteers, conducting parent conferences and visits, completion of necessary documentation, organizing of parent-child activities.
