Title Home-Based Teacher

Qualifications Requires Senior Staff and CDA or Senior Staff and A.A. Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Must attend Parents as Teachers Certification training. Minimum of one year experience in a licensed center. Driver’s license and own transportation to do home visits. Willingness to complete further training.
Responsibilities Responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating all service areas of Early Head Start or Head Start during home visitations and socializations. The Home-Based Teacher must maintain efficient visits and socializations which provide a pleasant, healthy, safe, positive environment for children ages 0 – 5 years old.

Title Infant / Toddler Center-Based Teacher

Hourly Salary $14.89
Work Schedule Mon-Fri; | 37.5 hours per week | 52 weeks per year
Qualifications Requires a minimum of Infant / Toddler Senior Staff qualification and A.A. degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Experience working with Infants / Toddlers in a center based setting preferred. Additional education may be used to substitute for center-based experience.
Responsibilities Main duties include: providing a stimulating and age-appropriate environment, managing daily classroom operations, development of lesson plans, participation in related health, nutrition, social services and parent involvement, providing direction to classroom volunteers, maintaining classroom and supplies, supervising children, taking special needs into consideration when planning daily activities, recruiting volunteers, conducting parent orientation and education, completion of necessary documentation, organizing of parent-child activities, conducting home visits/ parent conferences as required.

Title Food Services Coordinator

Hourly Salary Entry Level $31,083.00 annually
Work Schedule Mon-Friday; 37.50 hours per week; 52 weeks per yr
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent plus minimum three years experience in food preparation. Prefer A.A. degree in Nutrition or Food Service related field. Two years of supervisory experience. Intermediate computer skills required. Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities Supervises all aspects of the Washington County Head Start Food Service Program. Implements the Child Care Food Program of the Head Start Center according to the goals and objectives set forth in the Head Start Performance Standards and the USDA Child Care Food Program guidelines. Oversees and assists in preparation of meals at various H.S. sites. Oversees and maintains established standards of sanitation, safety, and food preparation. Serves as substitute Cook as needed. Develops menus and obtains nutrition consultation as defined in Head Start guidelines.
